Silobakery tucked beside Howard Centre in Pinelands is turning out flaky croissants and properly good espresso from a space small enough to feel like a secret. Coffee, a pastry, and you've got a reason to detour through Pinelands.
Stepbrothers just opened on Victoria Road in Camps Bay, homemade pastas and pizzas served long-lunch style with the Atlantic doing the scenery. Halal-friendly, and generous enough to share.
777 Coffee Shop on Keerom Street runs the aviation bit all the way, boarding-gate signage, staff in pilot uniforms, drinks from R35. Order the tiramisu if you're not in a rush to disembark.
