After two years and two Comrades Marathons, Siyabonga Mfanta is hanging up his Cart Horse Protection Association running shoes, having raised R200,000 for the charity along the way. He's stepping out as an independent runner next, fresh off a sub-three-hour finish at this year's Sanlam Cape Town Marathon. Plenty more kays left in him yet.
