A design of a R50 note featuring Rassie Erasmus, marking his 100th Test in charge, has gone viral in Springbok circles, with fans debating which note he actually deserves. It's not an official Reserve Bank release, just South Africans dreaming big after another series win.
A donor sent a box of dress-up clothes to LIV Cape Town's early childhood centre in Fisantekraal, and the kids' reactions are pure joy. From princesses to superheroes, it's a small gift going a long way for a centre supporting over 100 vulnerable children with education, meals and trauma-informed care.
Construction has begun on Tutu Memorial Park in Milnerton, transforming the former Lupin Park into a tribute to Archbishop Desmond and Mama Leah Tutu. Expect a children's play area, memorial garden, amphitheatre and public art reflecting his legacy, all on the doorstep of the Tutu family home, with completion expected in six months.
