Two architecture students from Nelson Mandela University beat out thousands of global competitors to take home the world’s largest architecture student prize, announced in Belgrade this week. It’s the kind of result that makes you look up from your screen. South African design on the biggest stage there is.
CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa) received a brand-new minibus for the Western Cape, meaning young patients no longer have to piece together transport to reach life-saving treatment. For families already carrying more than enough, that is one enormous thing off their plate.
