Vietnamese Street Kitchen in Muizenberg is the kind of place people keep coming back to without meaning to. The beef pho is rich and properly loaded, the com ga sneaks up as the standout with crispy chicken and a sauce worth hoarding, and the banh mi is dangerous for anyone with a bread problem. Simple food, done well. A proper neighbourhood favourite.
Misu on Warwick Street in Claremont serves tiramisu as scoopable gelato, espresso layers, mascarpone cream, and a proper cocoa finish, in flavours like traditional, chai, caramel, and Biscoff. No alcohol in the mix, so it's halal-friendly and fine for kids. Worth a small scoop first if you want to gauge the coffee intensity.
