TEARS Animal Rescue is asking Cape Town to open some doors. The shelter is currently housing 109 dogs, well over its usual capacity, and is calling on the city to adopt or foster. Adult dogs are just as ready for a home as the puppies, and fostering is a no-strings way to help if you're not ready to commit.
The Springboks stayed perfect in the Nations Championship this weekend. South Africa cruised to a seven-try, 43-0 win over Wales in Durban without conceding a point, with debutant Jaco Williams scoring twice as the world champions extended their winning run to 11 Tests.
